Window Cleaning with a Touch of Glass
We pride our selves in always doing a good job, whether commercial or private. We do not use power washers to clean your window as this not only stains your glass but makes our job harder. We hand clean with squeegee, clothe and detergent which in our opinion gives the best results. We also clean your frames and door which is all included in the price of cleaning your windows. We are based in Portlaoise but we cover Carlow, Kilkenny, Kildare and Offaly.
Why Should We Keep Our Windows Clean
the obvious reasons are:
- better view
- heat efficiency
- professional business image
- Looks well kept and maintained .
Beyond the obvious reasons, the most important reason for glass maintenance is to avoid glass degradation. glass will, over time, become permeated with a variety of contaminants:
- hard minerals (from sprinkler systems and building run-off)
- oxidization (from windows encased in metal frames and screens)
- acid rain
- sea spray
- over spray (from paint, chalking, mortar and more)
INDOOR WINDOW CLEANING SERVICES
Please feel free to ask about our indoor window cleaning services. As with every job our prices will vary depending on the number of windows and the size of course. We are always happy to visit your property for an on site quote. For bigger commercial buildings we will do a cost analysis and get back to you .With smaller jobs there is usually no need for a contract but for our bigger commercial undertakings we will always use a contract.
In most cases hard minerals or hard water is the biggest threat .The need for basic glass restoration can be avoided with regular cleaning to exterior window glass surfaces. We recommend no less than two cleaning’s per year.
Understanding glass:
- because glass is porous, it’s easy to understand how it’s transparent look can quickly become obstructed with airborne pollutants.
Also, it’s easy to understand why hard water (rain water runs over prefabricated surface i.e.. wood stain, painted siding, concrete sealant and deposits minerals and acids from those substances will enter into the pores of glass as rain water flows down the window glass surface) can damage glass if not maintained on a regular basis.
